Morrisville Chamber Introduces New Series for Professional Women
Sharon Hill Presents Effective Networking to Chamber of Commerce
Morrisville, NC – The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce proudly introduces a new educational series for professional women, KNOW: Knowledgeable Network of Women. The series is designed to support the development of professional women through innovative and creative programming.
The KNOW Series will consist of quarterly luncheons, each featuring a keynote speaker or panel of experts to address an issue or topic unique to professional women. Each event will provide women with opportunities for growth, networking and connections.
The inaugural program, Effective Networking: Creating Connections with Lasting Impressions, is sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline. It is planned for January 21, 2009, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the new Cambria Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport in Morrisville. The program aims to enhance women’s networking skills and increase their confidence level, whether they are networking within their organization or at an event working the room! Business etiquette expert Sharon Hill will navigate women through the sticky web of business networking. Sharon has more than 20 years of experience as a development and marketing manager at Fortune 500 giant IBM. She is a Toastmasters International award winner and the author of several books including, Wild Woman’s Guide to Etiquette: Saving the World One Handshake at a Time.
