Sharon Hill Delivers Keynote Address for Black Professional Alliance at Bank of America

Professional Speaker and Business Etiquette Trainer Speaks on the Power and Potential of Corporate Diversity Networks

Sharon Hill, prominent Chapel Hill-based Business Etiquette Trainer, Professional Speaker, and newly elected North Carolina Toastmasters International® District Governor, gave the keynote address at the Inaugural Formal Gala for the Black Professional Alliance at Bank of America - Greensboro on June 10th.

Hill, whose leadership involvement with corporate diversity organizations dates back to her time as chairman of the Black Diversity Network Group for IBM in Raleigh’s Research Triangle Park, presented on the professional opportunities and benefits provided by strong networks like the Black Professional Alliance at Bank of America. She also shared her experiences and past successes with similar organizations, spoke on the importance of finding and utilizing corporate mentors, explained the value of seizing leadership opportunities, and provided valuable insights on how to bolster careers through supportive individuals.

The gala, which heralded the recent institution of the Black Professional Alliance at Bank of America - Greensboro, was a well-attended formal event. Prominent executives from both Bank of America and Merrill-Lynch were in attendance to hear Hill speak.
